I have downloaded many large files recently...mostly opensource.
I cannot however download a zip file approx 8 MB from my Logo Creation
Program Provider.
He uses VBulletin but the vbulletin links to a download area on his site.
Everyone else says they can get the update but I cannot.
I use Comcast Broadband and Norton AntiVirus
I'll bet he has his download set to a higher permission than other open
source providers.

What say ye?

Are you using a download manager? I have problems with DAP and some downloads....

Well, it can be helpful for some things, but I don't think it will help you with this particular problem.

What happens when you try to download the file? Do you get an error message?

If you use MSIE, you should.
You could try nettransport
[lycos26486.l78.lycos.com.cn...]
or leechget (will list the steps of the download and the messages sent by the server)
[leechget.de...]
or Dlexpert
[wilders.org...]
They sometimes fix the problem by allowing "pause" or "resume"
