Hosting company problems

Hi guys,

I've been browsing this forum for a while. But need some advice with what I should do about my hosting company. Basically I've been using them for about a year now, with no problems then recently (within the past month) the server seems to have regular problems where I would need to call them up to fix it. The problem is with my ASP pages, none of them load while html pages are fine. I'm wondering what the reason might be for this, well could it be my fault as they said it could be to do with bad scripts that close all database connections for instance. I've checked them ASP pages and logs and can't see any page which might be causing this failing.

My site is running on MS Server 2003, a really want to know if this is normal and what I should do as it's causing real problems as my site can't be accessed a lot of the time.

Thanks for any advice.

ASP is a service by itself. So being able to still view HTML pages tells me that the service had stopped. Normally you or your host can look at the event log to see what is going on.

You know if you ask a MS admin guru guy "what's wrong" his first answer is going to be "It's got to be your fault, you idiot!"

They teach 'em that in the MSCE training thing they have to go through.
