Our website works perfectly over high speed networks..
However, on dial up many pages hang and then splash HTM code on the display. Have tried this with many different ISPs - same result - so it is not the ISP. Also tried this with many different PCs - same result so it is not the PCs.

It has to been the website or the web hosting... website was done with FP2000. Any suggestions?

Thanks

It may be that that's the culprit. What's the total size of the html page, and the total including the graphics and all other inserted files? If it works on high-speed, then file size could well be the problem, and FrontPage is notorious for it's bloated, spaghetti code.

When you say that the HTM code splashes on the display, what do you mean exactly? Are you getting the source code displaying in the browser window?

Hi, Yes the source code is being displayed on the screen... the files are very large as they have lots of pictures..

I tried taking the same web and uploading it to my personal rr account, runs fine there so it must be on my current web hosting server companies side..

FrontPage is notorious for it's bloated, spaghetti code.

You should see what MS Word creates! They sometimes refer to .wmz files, which can be huge...
