Anybody know of anything? And yes I'm aware of programs that'll scrub a machine of these nasties but millions of my potential customers have no idea this garbage is on their machine, that's why I would like something server side.
Any ideas?
i dont understand what are you trying to do... server side include are the ability of a server to include other pages while seamlessly serving the page. a great method of serving headers, and footers. change one file and you changed them all. i never heard of it as the treatment of choice for pop ups. check your books again.

Google will not spider secure pages. And if your entire site is going to be under SSL than, you will loose the rank.
As mentioned above Google can easily spider SSL pages only data that is submitted from a SSL is encrypted thats the whole idea.
You might not loose any PR as a result of SSL, to be honest I would only use SSL on a form or log in page. Not sure that a PR will be displayed in the Toolbar as a result being under SSL.
Remember users will be informed by default that they enter a SSL area, this may put off visitors from entering a site because they don't understand.
I would stick to pure http: :)
