Several years ago I built a little geocities site for a group I was part of. The group disbanded and I abandoned the site. A few weeks ago, I checked it out, just for fun and the darn site has a PR5 for the homepage and PR4 for some of the other pages. Plus it gets a couple hundred hits a month to its contests page. Not alot but this after I haven't looked at or touched it in literally 2 1/2 years.

Is it worth reclaiming and developing, even though its a geocities site?

What about the group, is there any hope for that?

I'm sure you could put it to some use. It might make a useful entry point for other sites of yours?

I think so but I'd give it its own domain and use the Geocities space as a pointer to the new home (with the proper notations and redirects). Then I'd rework it a bit based on new-found knowledge since I last touched it.

But that's me...
