Was clearing out the pages for my temporary interenet files and spotted 'flash.iota' from the macromedia site and wondered what this was? Any ideas?

Just did a Google search for iota restricted to the Macromedia site. It gives a list of links, which all seem to be snippets of JS around embed tags. Guess it is a propriatary extension they use to get around the problems related to the Eolas patent.

Thanks SG
So the bigger sites are taking the Eolas Patent [w3.org] seriously. Maybe the 'ripples of incompatibility' are already showing. At the moment I don't give 1 iota ;)
