I have got some problems with my ISP, they are not updating the log files regularly, which is really critical to our business for tracking purposes. This has been the case for a while now and i am really fed-up, as they are not even responding quick enough to my emails nor have a telephone support. So, i am thinking to drop them, but before that i would like to know few things.
Will this change the IP address of my website?
Will it have any effect on my search engine rankings?
Thanks in advance,

If they are hosting your website, Yes.
Will it have any effect on my search engine rankings?
You can avoid that by setting the site up somewhere else and getting the domain pointed to it and have it run for a month before killing the other service. Keep all of the same file names and paths and you should be fine.
