You ever have one of those days when you wish you had paid attention to your mum when she told you to leave the computer alone and go and do your homework?

I have just started a new job, turns out all of our domains (7) expired on the 1st of this month. No email, no website...bugger all!

Two weeks in the job, this is all I need.

But hey it's nearly the weekend :)

Oh dear, a visit to the panic room! Thats the last thing you need to start your day with. Been there, got two t-shirts.

Same thing happened to me last year, someone from the company had entered their email address as the admin contact then let the email account lapse. Registrar doesn't how how to use the phone apparently. Not very clever.

This year the domain was renewed in plenty of time, but then it went down anyway on the day it would have expired because the registrar screwed up the nameserver. I had my own words "I'll take responsibility for this and make sure it doesn't happen again..." ringing in my ears. Perhaps I just dreamt that I renewed the domain name?

I'm convinced there's some wierd kind of synchronicity at work on the www.

Hope it all gets sorted quickly. At least it should all be back to normal when you get back Monday :)

I set up reminders in my cellphone for every domain! I would never want to miss renewal date of the domain!

It seems that the company who did register the domains has gone bust last year. It seems our host has got everything sorted though!

I use 000domains and I like that they sent out 90/60/30 day alerts on all domains.

Of course it still happened. It did help that it was my most spammed email address and it took down the spam for a few days.
