How good is the WebGUI CMS

Anyone using it? We're thinking of trying it......

Anyone had any experience of WebGUI?

It seems to have a lot going for it - easily tailored, open source (free), re-writable URL's.

What about the other SEO stuff? Easy enough to tailor page titles, headings and other meta tags?

Presumably it doesn't do anything horrible like issue SID's?

I'm interested in hearing the good the bad and the plain ugly about it.

Thanks,

TJ

I haven't done more than play with the demo, but it looks to me that there is very little documentation available about this CMS that is free. You have to pay for the "Ruling WebGUI" book, and it looks like plainblack are really pushing their support contracts. I don't know how far you would be able to get before you had to start paying for information or support. It's nice that the community and support system exist, but it makes it a bit harder for me to evaluate.

I'd also be interested to hear how easy/difficult this system is to customize.
