I am looking to buy a forum program that:
1- I can use on my website(operated on my website)
2- Best optimizal version for search engine optimization.
3- Prefer forum compatible with window data bases.
4- Very easy to operate
5- Can be modified with very little work so I can add gif links, text links. etc.
6- Forum version that is cost effective versus loading time

I would enjoy hearing any comments and feedback on criteria I am looking for, thus might possibly help me establish more criteria I might want to consider.
I prefer to buy a forum I can use and modify as my own, thus any advertising in forum will be my advertising.

thank you for your time and effect in advance
Stephen

Take a look at ASPPlayground and the reviews at ASP Resource Index here [aspin.com].

Does it have to be forum software that you have to "buy" (such as vBulletin)? Or is free forum software (such as PhpBB, YaBB, InvisionBoard etc.) acceptible for recommendation as well?

P.S. No forum software that you host on your own site will have any built in ads.

That asp program sounds very interesting. Anyones thoughts ideas and comments on that program?

I have another question, if I put this forum on one of my domains, can I put on different web pages on my different websites , different questions that leads to the particular section of the forum that that particular question is in forum discussion, also can I change(put new) question in that forum section and have it automatically displayed where the previous question was displayed on particular page?
