Google doesn't have a ban for long words. In languages like German or Dutch, having long words is not so uncommon (try this search on Google [google.com]) so it would be weird to ban pages/sites with long words. Think positive, it will be easy to rank well for such a word. OTOH, if nobody ever searches for it, then it would be better to split it up; not for Google but for your potential visitors.
