Hi

I have some catalogues which are in PDF format and I need to convert them or export them into excel for use in a database.

I haven't got a copy of Adobe Acrobat, only the reader.

Any ideas how or if this can be done?

TIA

Karl :)

One cheap 'n' cheerful way is to use the 'text select' tool, drag it over the info you wish to export, and then just paste into Excel. It may need a bit of formatting afterward, but it can be done this way.

The column select tool might work well too depending on how your data is formatted.

It's turning into an epic.

I have already been messing with the text tool, the columns differ in the amount of data in each one, so when I copy and paste in squashes it altogether :(

Its a massive file so adjusting it all back into line is a nightmare, looks like I'll have to beg borrow or steal of copy of Adobe from somewhere :)

Thanks
