I've just started a competition on my site and need some suggestions of where I can promote it. It's a UK only comp so I've submitted details to the top comp sites in the UK and that's getting a few ppl through but nowhere near as many as I'd thought.

Anyone got suggestions of forums/sites that will allow me to tell ppl about the comp. My site is about authors of alternative fiction (sf, fantasy, etc.) and the prize is a signed book by one of the authors on the site.

Thanks

Fan sites / forums? Ezines? Exhibitions? Trade shows? Leaflets / Flyers in book stores?

General Sci fi related sites?

Find some big high traffic sci fi sites and ask them to run details of the competition for x amount of time with a link back to your site.

Im not really sure looking for competition sites is the way to go - it's not very targetted traffic.
