Just wondering if anyone knows how this could be done. I want a link on a page that opens 2 differnt url's. The obvious option would be to use a pop up on one of the pages to open the second. With the increasing use of pop up blockers this is not an option. It is importaint that the user sees both pages. One is the page the other is a disclaimer type document.
Any ideas?

If i were you I would have the disclaimer come up with an "Agree" link that goes to the page. Otherwise it won't be very effective. If I clicked a link that opened two windows, I would probably close both immediately, if my browser wasn't set to deny popups.

To be honest I agree with the principle that Ryan suggested and it was the idea I put across. The person who has approached me to build her site is just determined that she wants it done in a specific way. Fare enough it's her site and I will do it. But I just havent got a clue how to make it work. lol

Mack,
About the only thing that I can think of right off hand would be some javascript... but a lot of the pop up blockers are now able to spot <a href="#" onclick=""> and <a href="javascript:function(); return false;"> What do you think?

I recommend you take Ryan's suggestion. At least in the US, disclaimers/TOS have already been court tested. Judges have ruled that people must actively indicate somehow (like clicking a link or button) that they have read and agree to the terms otherwise it's not unenforcable.
