How big is the internet?

anyone here who knows where to find reliable statistical data about the internet or has answers to the following questions?

How many hosts/domains are there?
How many pages do (probably) exist?
Which search engine has the biggest index?

...

I dont think there is anyone who can truthfully answer your question. It changes every minute so even if you were to say the 40,000 were added every minute all over the world you would lose count real quick. Not to mention all the pages that already exist.
