I am looking for the font used for The Wizard of OZ logo. Does anyone know the name of it, or where I can find it? I've looked everywhere it seems and am unable to find this font....Arrrghh Thank you in advance for any help or steer in the right direction.

From which poster/book? They have used many different fonts over the years, from the original movie poster to the current DVD release.

I believe it's the current one on the current dvd: found here [thewizardofoz.warnerbros.com...]
But if you know where I can find this one or the original that would be great! I would prefer the current but not a must. :-) thank you for any assistance you might be able to provide.

Hi

If you can get a good copy of the text in image form, you can upload it here:

[myfonts.com...]

Thre program will scan the font and find it for you.

I've used the service loads of times, and it almost always finds it.

I think you are going to find that it is not a font but rather someone's illustrating talent that created those letters. I'm familiar with Disney graphic standards and I'm almost certain those letters are all hand drawn.

P.S. Try doing a search for disney fonts at Google and you may find something there. ;)
