I know when you make changes like adding a nameserver or changing them to your domain it can take 24-72 hours.
Yesterday, I moved my server that runs DNS to my new office. So I logged into the register and updated the name-server that was attached to the domain. I didnt change the name (ns1.widgets.com) .. i just changed the IP for "ns1.widgets.com".
All my domains that use ns1.widgets.com show the new IP when I log into the 'Manage domain' from the domain registry website. However, when i ping 'ns1.widgets.com' it still tries to ping the old IP.
Does it still take 24-72 hours to propogate when you only changed the IP of 'ns1.widgets.com'?
