sites.com.ar are limited to 26 chars... but what about subdomains?
Is there a maximum or should it be 26 total.?
mysubdomain.mydomain.com.ar = 26 total?

RFC 1035 appears to limit the entire name to 255 characters and any one specific label (a name between the dots) to 63 octets. I believe this includes the dots and the trailing dot at the end which is rarely explicitly written.
That's pretty long, and I hope that all major implementations of DNS servers support that much.
