Right click properties and sharing not working

Just got a new computer, and everything is fine but when I right click on a file I get the menu and can choose all the options but when I choose sharing or properties nothing happens.

I have admin rights etc but at am lost as I have searched high and low for a solution but so far nothing.

When I am in Explorer I can right click My Documents and properties and that works, but when I try and right click a folder in MyDocuments it does not.

Any ideas?

1.have you loaded anti virus software yet
2.have you rebooted
3.is it connected to a network or stand-alone

Hi archives - yes it is strange and annoying.

I have installed NIS 2003 which includes NAV 2003.

The comp is stand alone and have rebooted many times trying to fix this by changing different things.
