"Nearly half of all UK households have Internet access, it was revealed yesterday. A record 11.7 million homes surf the Web - double the number at the turn of the century, the Office of National Statistics [statistics.gov.uk] said. Most use the internet to send e-mails, search for information on goods and services and look for holiday ideas. Three in four who who bought goods over the Internet said it was problem free"
I can't find any further info at the mo', but this is an encouraging statistic... are 'us' suspicious Brits putting our trust back into the web?
