Hi,

Im developing a website, in ASP.net - and have it working smoothly on all versions of IE for the PC, and explorer 5 for the Mac (as low as ive tested, but no probs) - however Netscape 4.7 for the Mac is causing me serious headaches...

Of course the answer is "As many as possible" - but rather like the whole 'should i bother with 800x600?' thing - i would like an idea of what your minimum browser compatibilty is normally, for sites that go a little bit deeper than a basic online brouchure...

Thanks, will be very interesting...

A must. I make sure my site looks ok in anything 800x600 upwards. I terms of browsers I go down to version 5 on IE, NN and Opera.

NN4.7 causes headaches for everyone. IMO, it was a real bodge job. I would ignore it.

On the other hand it is widely (compared to ther legacy browsers) used in some communities, so it depends.

Like many others I wish it would just go away, but until it does I feel that my site has to "work" (not necessarily optimally) with it.
