I browse the router security logs rarely but I just noticed this:

2003/06/19 12:57:44 PPPoE send PADI
2003/06/19 12:57:47 PPPoE send PADI
2003/06/19 12:57:50 PPPoE send PADI
2003/06/19 12:57:53 PPPoE send PADI
2003/06/19 12:57:56 PPPoE send PADI
2003/06/19 12:57:56 PPPoE receive PADO
2003/06/19 12:57:56 PPPoE send PADR
2003/06/19 12:57:56 PPPoE receive PADS
2003/06/19 12:57:56 PPPoE start PPP
2003/06/19 12:57:57 Username and Password : OK
2003/06/19 12:58:01 PPPoE get IP : 208.191.104.53


There are no other entries in the log. Can someone decipher this?

PPPoE = Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) over Ethernet
PADI = PPPoE Active Discovery Initiation
PADO = PPPoE Active Discovery Offer
PADR = PPPoE Active Discovery Request
PADS = PPPoE Active Discovery Session-confirmation
