Their tech support is okay. I have called them twice, and it took a while to reach a tech support rep. One of my calls was placed at close to midnight, so I give them the benefit of the doubt and presume that they have less reps working at those odd hours.
If you are transfering a domain name, then note that aplus uses a subsidiary company to do so, so you will end up receiving notifications from both aplus and the subsidiary regarding your hosting acct and domain transfer respectively.
But as for support, Hostway beats Aplus by a country mile. I chose Aplus in haste (sucked by Cnet's recommendation - Cnet won't publish negative opinions) and will probably park a test site there and move my business site also to Hostway.
