I have seen a box that could protect the computer

like a firewall and hide IP, but I cant remember the name

Hello, I have seen it in television about some box from Canada that protect you against hackers like a firewall and other stuff.It looked like a external modem and it should be a great thing, but I just cant remember the nam of the thing.

Anyone see something like that, it was presented tin this year I think.

Are you thinking of a router, zeus? A typical router will do NAT (natural address translation) to hide your IP address. There are some combo boxes that are routers, hubs, and even wireless access points. One of these will provide your firewall plus allow easy connectivity of multiple machines.

No it was a new thing and it was something about if you could crack it you will get 1.000.000$, pretty amazing, im sorry I cant help anymore.
