I need help....this is easy....but i can't figure out where is comes from......How does everyone put those little vertical lines separating links on the bottom of their page...you see them everywhere:

For example, on ESPN.com's website, at the very top of the page! HOw is this done? Thanks for the advice!

just a pipe character usually

the WebmasterWorld software changes these chars so they look broken.

Erik,

Have you tried doing a View->Page Source on the page?

It's just a standard keyboard character, usually SHIFT + "\" - it's the key above the Enter key on my keyboard.
