Is there anywhere to search a database, similar to www.register.com, for particular DNS servers.

I want to search for all domain names that were pointing to a particular nameserver.
emample: (ns1.mydomain.net)

Thanks

None that I know of - you can do a reverse lookup based on the IP's in the c class you are curious about. But, the problem with that is that the domains sometimes are mapped to the same IP, so there could be more than 255 sites on the same c class.

Hello,

AFAIK there isn't. I've seen this asked before and I'm almost certain the response was that you can't query the central databases in this way. If so then in theory you can list all customers of a particular web host and stuff...

I certainly haven't seen a website myself however I stand corrected! On the subject of DNS websites, I'd just like to throw in [dnsstuff.com...] which I found a couple months ago and I've found really useful when I have a specific DNS query I want to look up.

Dominic.
