DNS Issue after domain transfer

I recently transferred a domain of mine that was up for renewal from my godaddy account, to my regular enom account ... Upon the transfer being completed, I entered the regular contact info and DSN info for my server ...

After 6 days, although internic had picked up the changes after 1 day, the domain is still pointing at the old server ... As I own the new server, I have checked & double checked everything on that end ... No problems there ...

ANyone have any idea of what could be causing this?

As always, thanks in advance for your replies :-)

Hi catch,

Have you tried different internet connections. It could be a problem with your ISP's DNS server. I would also check BOTH server's dns records. You can use the nslookup command to check this.

Have tried the above ... Now, when I go to ping it, the reply is "host not found" ...

I have contacted Enom about this ... There is something really wrong going on, and it is costing me by the day :-(

Did you try the nslookup as chris_f suggested?

A whois lookup should tell you the assigned DNS info for your domain. If you're using the enom DNS service have you set the A and CNAME records to point to your server?
