When checking through my logs I usualy find a trickle of WAP and PDA browsers. I accept that a lot of PDA users have pretty much the same view of the web as "standard" users on their pc's.

On the other hand I tend to class WAP users as crippled surfers. I recently tried to make my site more accesable to wap users by writting a version of common pages in wml. To be honest the pages where simply offering a description of the site and inviting them to come visit the main website.

My site is an info site and contains lots of links to outside sites, It's a web directory, therefore a lot of the links woudl not be suited to wap users.

How do you handle these situations?

I dare say there are a lot of members on these boards who say they are doing will with wap users. Where do you find your traffic is coming from?

Thanks in advance for the feed back.

With a screen half the size of a post-it note, WAP users will have to realize their "experience" will not be the same as sitting as a desktop.

I provide an alternative site for WAP users, stripped of graphics, scripts and more. It's barebones all the way for them.
