I had a site running as a subdomain on a server seperate from my own ... This morning, theat server went down & hasn't came back up yet ... So I need to recreate the subdomain on my own server asap, so as not to lose the traffic ...

Question is how do I setup a subdomain (eg subdomain.mydomain.com)? My server is running Redhat 7.2 with Ensim Webppliance 3.0.2-55 ... I already have the base domain (mydomain.com) setup on my server, just need to create the subdomain ...

As always, thanks in advance for your replies :-)

That is a pretty specific question. In apache, you can set one up by going into your httpd.conf file, and then following the instructions.

Also, you can use the Apache server documentation [httpd.apache.org] which has some pretty detailed info.

After looking through there, if there is a part you don't get, perhaps you can post a follow up?

The 'gui' tools only ad an abstraction layer, the underpinnings are still the same.

Alternatively, there might be some tutorials out there for your control panel, since afaik, it's relatively widely used...
