anyone have any tips or advice on using a laptop to keep in touch with the web side of life and 150 emails daily? inbuilt gps? would that be the way to go?

i use a gprs phone with my laptop, i suppose you could consider it the dsl of the mobiles. (theoretical speeds of upto 171 kpbs), could handle 150 emails no probs!
i use it when i'm travelling to cities which generally have good coverage, i don't know what it's like out of them.
i'll pm you an informative url on gprs :)

i think it will be quite good, i live near alicante and the coverage is grand, telefonica seem to be doing a good job at the moment
Vodafone are in the market quite big here now and i imagine their coverage would also be quite decent :)

cos of the pronunciation of the double l, it's closest sounding letters in the english alphabet are j & y , i would have gone with the 'y' but i guess someone preffered the 'j' and it stuck :)
