Hello,

I have an order management system that needs to send emails to customers but it doesn't have the appropriate settings for working with an outbound smtp mail server that requires authentication.

it seems that all the mail servers out there are like this now. can anyone sticky me the name of a cheap isp that i can send mail through without authentication or is it possible to set it up locally on my computer? i have iis running but not sure what is needed to do it.

thanks.

Talk to your (or any) isp to include you in the trusted ip list. Most mail servers can be configured to relay even without authentication from specified addresses.
