I do not have an answer to this problem. Why is using layers for my drop down menus adding so much weight to my landing page? Anyone please this is getting annoying Thanks

Do you mean it makes the index page heavy? As in more k? Are you talking about the site in your profile? (I cannot see any dropdowns there.) The only reason a dropdown made in layers should be heavy is if each link is actually a graphic.
