I have deleted my Frontpage 2000, Netscape navigator and about 300mb of programs but I still cannot seem to freeup enough space. I also deleted about 200mb of mail from the sent category of Outlook Express.
My harddrive needs to be defragged but I do not have enough memory to finish the procedure through the Norton Defragger or the MS Defragger. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
There is a step I've heard about that says if you copy all your software .ini files(?) you save yourself the hassle of re-registering all of them after reformatting.
I hope I said that right.
If what I've described is not the case, could you tell us what that step is - If there is such a thing?
Thanks.

My Pop3log is 3.06 GB ( ouch)
Sent Items is 179mb
smtp log is 7.37mb
Do I just delete these files or what is the proper procedure. Thanks.
I don't know if you can delete pop3.log. Try renaming it to pop3.old or something and see if everything works for a day or two. If it does, I would say (as long as I am not held legally liable for doing so :)) that it is probably safe to delete.
Also, I saw a good deal on a 40GB 7200rpm drive today that should be about $30 after rebates and coupons and all. You may have to be in the States to take advantage. Sticky me if you want the link.
