Hello all,
When trying to retrieve mail Outlook I am getting the first three messages but Outlook keeps timing out on the fourth message (out of 11 currently). Then it stops retrieving mail completely from that address. How can I get past this. I've set the timeout period to ten minutes but it still doesn't work. I mostly want to get to the messages beyond the one causing me problems. But I also want it gone so that I don't keep receiving the first three messages over and over again.

hi Powdork,

if it's ok for your to delete the message of the server, you can use a tool for this (there are hundreds so i picked just one): quickdelete [yeti-soft.de] (choose your lang then)

here is the: rubrique at webbattack [webattack.com]

hope that helps. quickdelete looks good.

You might also want to check to see if your ISP offers some sort of webmail. If this is the case, then you could simply log into your webmail and delete the offending message.

...and there are tools that sit between your mail server and e-mail client like MailWasher that could allow you to filter the mail off your server as well...

Thanks, i'll lok into these for the future. It went away and when I got my mail there were no messages that would or should have caused this. Oh well.
