Hi,

Just a quickie: Can anyone tell me the latest verion of Javascript......is it 1.3?

I believe that JavaScript 1.5 is the latest version, with JavaScript 2.0 firmly in the pipeline (more here [mozilla.org]).

JavaScript 1.5 adheres to ECMA3 to the best of my knowledge.

Every version of Netscape supported a different JavaScript version, with Navigator6 amd Mozilla supporting 1.5. IE had JScript (the Microsoft version of JavaScript). However, there is now ECMA script - a standards version that most/all compliant browsers follow perfectly.
