I currently use FP2000 and I 'm trying to build a start up cost calculator that has fixed text categories on the left and input boxes for visitors to enter into and click the add button and "voila", it adds it up for them and posts the results to white background plain sheet that can be printed.

I am in search of a place to locate this type of script/code? or perhaps even contract someone to build it for me/tutor me?.

Try hotscripts.com or cgi-resources.com. You may not find a ready to run application, but calculator-type scripts are pretty easy to modify for your specific calculation - i.e., add an input field, change the formula, etc.

Try hotscripts.com for a good selection, and if you use NT hosting you could do a search for asp scripts.
