APC Issues Battery Backups Recall

Models CS 350 and 500....

Screensavers just opened todays show regarding an immediate recall on these two models. Seems they may overheat and cause things to go Pooof!

Strange, We have about 7-8 APC UPS, three have just started flaking out and will not switch on power loss.

Can't find the model numbers and the serial numbers are bar codes.

There is a plate with space for model and serial numbers, both are blank.

The APC site is not much help.

I hear 'ya there and that's why I posted ScreenSavers url. I looked hi and lo thru apc.com and couldn't find a thing, even using 'recall' as a keyword. <Yikes!>

I know on my unit the model and serical numbers are on the bottom.
