Below is the message that Internet Explorer 6 gave to me after I was reading a post from here, it then gave me the option to send an error report or not to bother and just close the browser. I was just wondering what information is sent back to M$ if I send them the error report, just wondering if anyone here knows the answer

Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Ever see a Dr.Watson screen? It's very similar. Version and system info at the time of the crash.

I done a little searching and I read on another sites forum, it can also find and send the ID number of your Pentium processor (if you have one) so they can add you to the database and track you!

I thought that the ID number on the processor was disabled by default, or is it the other way around!

Some crazy stories out there :)

Ya, I assume there is an id number passed back to ms, in each and every connection you make with ms. If it doesn't, then I guess I'm lucky.

Hmmm, I thought it was too. That's not something they would publicize and doubtful anyone would get worked up about it. There was already a big todo about it, so the 2nd time around, stuff like that gets ignored.
