My original career goal (when i was still at school) was to make computer games. Mainly so i could sit around all day and play with computers.
But in my final year I did a management subject and developed a knack for marketing and went onto study it at uni, along with some IT. And eventually got into web design, where i could sit about all day and play with computers.... ;)
But, as online gaming is developing more and more these days, Im thinking it might be a good route to go down.
Unfortunately Ive got very little technical knowledge to go into the technical design and build side of it.
But! Im fairly creative and well organised, so I thought that I would look into the content writing / user interface side of things (more or a drawing board design than technical).
My question is:
Is there anyone here that has experience in this field, or related fields that could offer some advice?
Im not really thinking about a career in the industry, but would like to be involved in some projects with an aim to developing a business in this area at some point (in the distant future...).
Any thoughts or pointers would be greatly appreciated! :)
