Some pretty useful tips in there.

I like the part about adding photos of the employees and their hobbies :)
I swear - that's the page Google read when adding the photos of the leading actors to their site.

Most of that are basic truths, I'd say from quick glance.

Yes, I really like these little "check list" type things. Most is obvious but we (well, 'I' cettainly) are in danger of overlooking the basics on occasion...

>danger of overlooking the basics on occasion...

true enough. ctually the page got me thinking about some additions to a project I'm just working at.
It's especially important to permanently getting back at those basic things when all focus is on SEO and targeting.
Credibility - it's one of those things that make the difference between having visitors and customers.

Damn right! I'm thinking about photos already, though I've got to try to find one where I don't look like a criminal ;) (very short hair and a mean look somtimes..)

Nice top10. Most do seem obvious, so why do so few sites satisfy basic credibility requirements?

I'm with you on the focus thing, heini. When paid for SEO, you or I are probably sensitive to the trap of catering to the customer's ego or trying to "show the dazzling things they can do with web technology", but the difference between having visitors and customers should never be far from our minds. I admit that sometimes I get too narrow.
