With recent filtering of well known western based websites I thought some of you may be interested to see this. It is a page where you type in a URL and it runs a test and reports the site as either accesable or inacessable from china.

I was in Tibet recently and there are cyber cafe's in most of the large towns, which allowed us to keep in touch with home cheaply and regularly. I have to say that the accuracy of this resource is dubious - I typed in a number of sites that I accessed without problem while in Tibet and they all showed up as inaccessible.

I'm back a fortnight and I've heard nothing about the likes of XXXmail.com being banned between then and now. My private business mail web interface (mail.mycompany.ie) worked fine there, but shows as inaccessible on the site.
