Multiple URLs with same content

Will multiple URLs with same content hurt ranking

I have (3) URLs that currently have the same content.

Im not trying to "spam" the SE, but like the idea of more "exposure"

Also, I'll be creating "cloned" sites of mine that I give to my resellers. There pricing will be the only differance and they'll have there company name, etc.

My question is:

Will this hurt my rankings with most SE? Like Google, ect.

to answer the question though -

if they are heavily interlinked then i think yes trouble brewing on google,

but if not and they are isolated but duplicate content, then google rates the page with highest pr and ignores the others

To avoid penalties from ALL Search Engines of any consequence, you will have to exclude all spiders (using robots.txt) from 2 of your 3 sites making your net gain half of sod all.

So ask yourself what is the point, just additional hosting costs.
