I have been looking for gallery software to incorporate into my ubb forums. Has anyone used this software (photopost) before and can you give me some feedback. The samples sites look great with it but is there something better out there or is this a good deal?

thanks,
robin

Hello Binarygirl - welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Okay, this is an interesting question. What would be the things one should look at when choosing a tool for users to upload images and create thumbs into a forum?
Anybody working with such a tool?

What are the requirements you are looking for, binarygirl? Is it mainly for community building purposes?

Hi

I have never used photopost myself but I do use the free software by 4Homepages. I'm not sure if it will do what you want it to do but it is worth a look.

[4homepages.de...]

Hope its ok to post the link ;-)

If you are in an asp environment you could use ASPupload and ASPJpeg we have created many sites where the client can upload products into a database using these two ASP plugins.

I am looking to build my community. I also don't want to create a new user system so I want my current UBB system to work with the software. Does the ASPjpeg do that? Also does it allow me to screen photos before they go live on the site?
