just wanted to check the usage of extensions...
I thought the format was, sites:.net or sites:.biz etc...

Looking to see how well the new extensions .info .Biz, .US etc are being used .

Pages

Fast:- Choose advanced search, and enter the tld in the "Domain Filters: only include" field. For example, entering .biz innthat field gives 1,425,494 pages.

Google:- slightly different as you must also enter a search term wheras in Fast you do not. Using site:.biz biz will search for all pages including the term biz (presumably searching the URL as well) in the TLD .biz. This gives 306,000

Domains

Try Domains World Wide [domainworldwide.com] Lisa's site which polls registered domains on a regular basis. Of course this only give registered domains, not whether they are being used or not.

If you want to track the aggergate movements of domains, use Daily Changes [dailychanges.com], also belonging to Lisa.
