Ain't looked at XP, yet probably won't if my evolution into linux continues, however, i am still using 2000, as it is the only reliable OS to come from MS, since 95. I hate 98 and ME.

XP is miles better than 98

Having said that, I'm using linux now with 98 running on top.

I just installed XP on my friends PC - a creaky old P200 with 128M ram. This is the bottom limit of what should be able to run it.

Her subjective view is that she prefers it because it "seems quicker and I don't have to keep restarting my computer".
