Do we have any success story of sites moved to dedicated server from a shared hosting? I am planning to move to a dedicated server for better search results as I don’t have control on bad neighborhood which my site get from shared hosting.

I don't think moving to a dedicated server is going to give you a boost at all. I have one site on a host that has about 2000 other sites on my server and some of them are crappy, spammy, and deploy black hat SEO techniques, but that does not effect me.
