We have a couple of database-driven websites hosted by godaddy.com, we use MS SQL at backend. Recently, one major site gets more and more down time intermittently, it affects our online business seriously. I think the down time is mostly resulted from hosting server's database connection limit because the static page is always on but the static page shows "connection timeout". The site got a lot of down time before, so we upgraded the hosting service plan to the highest level, but now it seems the site approaches the connection limit again. How should we do? We just don't want to get the down time. If we upgrade the service to dedicated server, will the down-time problem be resolved?
