For your site yes.

If you can locate some on topic directories that accept listings list your site with as many as you can find.

try a search on google for (topic) web directory "add url"

Design a nice looking email signature, including a link to your site, and post at topic specific newsgroups. This can be a huge source of traffic as long as you are contributing to the topic and not spamming.

A lot of work, but newsletters keep the traffic coming - quality traffic because they are your target group. Make sure you use an opt-in mailing list approach. Newsletters are terrific for informing subscribers of updates, sales, contests and promotions, etc.

Thanks. Two good ideas. We already have an Opt-In of 60,000.

Anything else?

Write articles, have them published, cite your web site. Magazines and newspapers are always scouring for CONTENT.

If its a regionally specific site, do some traditional print advertising. Print that URL on everything the company owns. Get some vinyl cut decals and place them on the windows of your vehicles. Do something off the wall. Billboard space on your most favorite busiest highway. Networking, trade shows, industry events, etc.
