How to find one

I am new to website designing and have just begun to learn the jargon. Im going to be buying a website for my real estate business. It must be search engine friendly. Without name dropping can anyone help me pick a designer?

I would try any of the following sites:

Now depending on how serious you are about your site you can find a designer that fits your needs in within these sites. The first two links are sites that publish css designed sites and are usually W3C compliant sites. But but if you were looking to build your site for search engines, I would stick with the first to links as they say css desgned sites are better for search engine optimization. A lot of creative designers in there!
