Hi all,

This is my first post, and to be honest i am not sure if i am posting in the right place.

I am a real newbie to SEO, so please forgive my ignorance on this subject.

My question;

I am always reading that constantly updating you web site's pages will help search engines to spider your site more often as well as increase your rankings.

If this is so, what happens if I already have a good ranking on say my home page or other main subpages?

Would it be wise to keep on updating this page and risk the changes of the page to drop my rankings?

I am always afraid to change anything once I get a decent ranking :-(.

This is probably one of the biggest reasons as to why i never seem to go forward with the growthof my site.

Hope I have made sense here.

Thanks :-)

The more PR (PageRank) it gives google is not only by refreshing your index page, you must keep this content to get bigger and bigger your site, if you only delete the content and put new content google wont put you on a good place on goole rank...

So try to use PHP to store all the content you can and index it on your index.php main page some time later you will discover how are ranking your site better and getting more visitors over external links and from google searchs...

Good luck my friend

I think one a week in enough to satisfy search engines and visitors alike.

Remember your visitors are more important.
